Ballyshannon is a residential development by Grand Communities, LTD (Fischer Homes) on approximately 373 acres between Longbranch Road and Hathaway Road (KY 536) in Boone County, Kentucky. The development will be a mixture of single-family homes, condominiums and some commercial along with amenities such as a swimming pool, splash pool, cabana, a playground, and walking/bike paths. Inspired by Old World Ireland, the development is scheduled to have over 1,287 housing units. While Ballyshannon is nestled away in the rolling hills of Boone County, it is convenient to the Boone County Public Library (Scheben Branch) and shopping and dining along U.S. 42 and Mall Road.


Arcadia is a joint development of the Drees Co. and Grand Communities, LTD (Fischer Homes) on approximately 373 acres between U.S. 27 and Tollgate Road. A mixture of single-family homes, patio homes, condominiums and town homes are planned in Arcadia and is scheduled to take about 10 years to complete. In total, the development is scheduled to have over 1,000 housing units. Arcadia has been carefully designed to complement the natural aspects of the area.
