Big Bone Lick State Park

Over the past 13 years, Cardinal has locally provided engineering and/or surveying services to the Commonwealth of Kentucky for a wide variety of projects including the Gateway Community Colleges in Boone and Kenton Counties, Northern Kentucky University in Campbell County, Maysville Community College in Mason County, Center for Applied Ecology in Campbell County, and Big Bone Lick State Park in Boone County.

Campbell County Cooperative Extension Center

The Campbell County Cooperative Extension Service needed a remote facility at which it could provide a base for field trips and hands on teaching experiences for all ages of naturalists. Cardinal designed an instructional building on a backwater of the lake at A.J. Jolly Park in southern Campbell County.

CKG Rivercamps

CKG River Camps is a 42-acre parcel of Ohio Riverfront land in Campbell County, Kentucky that has operated informally as a river camp rental facility for over 50 years.

Independence Memorial Park

In 1997, Cardinal collaborated with the City of Independence’s recreation department and developed a master plan for the creation of Memorial Park (formerly Shaw Park), a multi-use recreational amenity for the City of Independence.

YMCA Camp Ernst

Cardinal Engineering Corporation has provided many years of Architectural, Engineering, and Surveying service to the Greater Cincinnati YMCA organization, especially Camp Ernst in Burlington, Kentucky. This began with the design of “The Loft,” a sleeping facility for 96 teenage campers, adaptable for varying weekly numbers of male and female campers.
