Canterbury Apartments Stream Restoration, Habitat Restoration, and Conservation Area

Cardinal teamed with Northern Kentucky University’s Center for Applied Ecology for this project. The project was performed to stabilize the channel, restore floodprone width, mitigate erosion, and improve fish passage. It involved the restoration of 2,400 feet of North Branch, 780 feet of perennial tributaries and 8 acres of riparian buffer. In addition, an 8.7 acre Habitat Restoration and Conservation Area was established on the property.
