Columbia Sussex Corporation

Located on 38 acres in Crestview Hills, Kentucky, this 8-story, 110,000 square foot building is the new headquarters for Columbia Sussex, the Northern Kentucky-based hotel and casino operator and the nation’s largest licensee of Marriott hotels. The $15 million complex also boasts a ½ scale train that encircles the property. The new building is the tallest in Crestview Hills, a feature that is enhanced by being located on top of a ridge. Cardinal provided complete design services for the Columbia Sussex development, including grading, storm water pollution prevention (erosion control), roadways, parking, water distribution, sanitary sewerage, storm drainage, railroad layout, and permitting. Cardinal worked closely with the developer to ensure that the project met their stringent standards.
