The Erlanger Commerce Center is located on a site that formerly was home to the Showcase Cinema movie theater, a 135 acre site that had been vacant since 2008. Al. Neyer partnered with Hillwood out of Dallas, TX to develop this speculative project, which creates available space in one of the tightest industrial markets in the country. Phase I of this project features a 779,720 SF one-story industrial building with 36’ clearance height and 159 trailer storage spaces with a cross-dock configuration. The project will offer a combined 1.7 million SF of industrial space. Officially the largest industrial project in Al. Neyer history, the team had to overcome many challenges at the site, including rerouting a Duke Energy gas main. Construction began in August 2017 and is planned to be completed in December 2018.
Our engineers are providing complete civil and surveying design services for the project, including grading, storm water pollution prevention (erosion control), roadways, water distribution, sanitary sewerage, and storm drainage. We are working closely with the Al. Neyer to ensure that the project meets their stringent standards.
